Sinus Infection Relief

I already asked a question about a dry socket. I had a horrible wisdom tooth extraction last Wed. I have sinus exposure from it. My OS told me not to blow my nose for a month. I am soooo scared as I had always had sinus problems. I am worried it wont heal. Did anyone have this and if so how long did it take you to recover?

I believe it’s called the maxillary sinus.Any easy remedies to clear it up?
ALSO: Does massaging the area help it or make it worse?

I have felt like this since Friday. My nose has been congested, which I know is a symptom. But I have a ear congested, and it feels block, is that a symptom of a sinus infection. I have been taking sudafed, but it does not really work. My main question is; Is having a congested ear during a sinus infection normal?

Note: I am a diabetic. A trip to the doc is not exactly an option. Have been fighting the sinus and chest congestion since October. Lots of sinus drainage. Which in turn is what I think is making the cough and sore throat.

ANy home remedy ideas that can get rid of this?

Woke up early this morning and my sinus pressure is painful, and then on top of that, my throat is somewhat in pain. What can help me overcome this illness quickly and cheaply with out the help of prescriptions? E.G. Veggies, fruits, vitamins, soup? I want to be fine for thanksgiving! I live in NY with very good radiator steam heating but I’m not able to turn it on and off at will. But for the last 6 years I’ve gotten a sinus infection even though I use a humidifier, saline solution mist, saline gel, I drink a lot of water and I take vitamins, nothing works. My Dr. said I have a slight deviated septum, but not enough to merit an operation. Any suggestions?

How can I stop sinus drainage in the back of my throat?
I wake up every single morning with sinus drainage in the back of my throat. Im constantly clearing my throat and I know it has to drive my coworkers nuts. No pain. I dont know if its allergy or not. I dont want my body dependant on meds though. Any suggestions?

That’s a birth defect [a genetic hole in your ear] for people who don’t know.
I can stick an earring halfway in but i would have to pierce it to go all the way through.
I think it would be a pretty cool piercing to have, so is that safe?

My Dr. gave me antibiotics to cure my sinus infection just today. I have had it for over a week and it is so bad, headaches, dizzyness, pressure all over my face. How long will it take for the antibiotics to kick in and work?
