How do I know if lump is sinus or dental related?

I have a large painful lump above my gum towards the back. It has no puss. I need to get some relief right away. Do I go to the dentist or could it be sinus related? Dentist or Doctor?

get urself an appointment asap with the DENTIST first, coz there might be a harmed old tooth root
