The entire right side of my head hurts. Even my teeth and jaw on that side. I started an antibiotic – levaquin 750 mg – today. I have also been taking Musinex D as directed. The pain in the right side of my face is truly unbearable. I have never had a sinus infection cause this much facial pain before. Please help!
As I was submitting this question – began to feel sick to my stomach and actually threw up within minutes of feeling sick. I had just taken another dose of Musinex about 15 minutes prior – as directed. Do you think the infection, medicine or head/face pain caused the nausea? And should I take more Musinex since I threw up so soon after taking it?

I just read someone elses question about sinus pressure and she seemed to be experiencing the same thing. Even sore neck, which made me to believe it was tension headache. Any more ideas?
I don’t have a stuffy nose or anythigng that would seem to accompany sinus. It’s just the headache. I’ve tried the sinus rinse before and it hasn’t done anything. There are 3 differnet Doctors who have allt old me it’s Sinus, that it’s just trapped up there…so I’m going to try the tea thing. I tried the hot compress on my face and head but it didn’t work

I am having a lot of pressure behind my nose and around my eye. I also have felt some pressure on my upper back jaw. It really frightens but I am told this is a sinus infrection. I do not have a runny nose but I do feel the occasionaly nasal drip. Has anyone had similar symptoms?

I have significant paranasal sinusitis and frontal sinus hypoplasia. What can be done, I tried searching the web only to find that hypoplasia means that the frontal sinuses are underdeveloped. I can’t get an appointment with an E.N.T. doctor because of insurance, could anyone please tell me what they would do if I could go.

I have been sick with what seems to be a sinus infection for a couple months. Someone I work with recently told me that having a sinus infection for too long can lead to having meningitis. Is this true?

Is it because or the location or the infection? In other words can the sinuses be an easy place for organisms to hide or escape from the immune system? I have allergies and as long as I take what the doctor ordered; I am fine for the most part. But if I do not keep my allergies in check; I can get an infection alot easier. I haven’t had a sinus infection in a long long time. I just lack understanding on why so many people suffer from this and why these types of infections can be so persistant.
